Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Leasing to lead our leasing department, driving growth and enhancing our property portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing leasing strategies that align with our corporate objectives, optimizing occupancy levels, and ensuring a seamless leasing process across all properties.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue across the property portfolio
- Oversee the leasing team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and professional development
- Collaborate with marketing and property management teams to enhance property visibility and attractiveness to prospective tenants
- Analyze market trends and competitive positioning to inform leasing decisions and pricing strategies
- Negotiate lease agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company while maintaining strong tenant relationships
- Monitor leasing metrics and prepare reports for senior management to track performance and identify improvement opportunities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in leasing management or real estate, with a proven track record of driving occupancy and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations, as well as market trends
- Exceptional negotiation skills and experience managing complex lease transactions
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a managerial role, with the ability to inspire and develop a team
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Experience with commercial leasing and familiarity with property management software
- Established network within the real estate community
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in property management software and leasing applications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and analysis

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
