Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to facilitate effective communication and education
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, treatment techniques, and patient assessment
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Specialty certifications in areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, or sports rehabilitation
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques
- Ability to utilize rehabilitation equipment effectively and safely
