Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Director of Speech-Language Pathology to lead our clinical initiatives and drive the development of innovative speech and language therapy programs. In this fully remote role, you will oversee a talented team of speech-language pathologists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the Speech-Language Pathology department, aligning with overall organizational vision and mission.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of speech-language pathologists, driving professional development and performance excellence.
- Establish evidence-based clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor department performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based solutions.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation for the Speech-Language Pathology department, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Engage in community outreach and education to promote awareness of speech and language disorders and available resources.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- 5+ years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to utilize data to drive clinical decision-making.
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Experience in telepractice or remote service delivery models.
- Strong knowledge of current trends and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools for performance tracking and reporting.
- Understanding of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines in speech-language pathology.
