Role Overview
We are looking for an Associate IT Program Manager to join the dynamic team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and management of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of IT projects
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders, including project teams, management, and external partners, to ensure alignment on goals and expectations
- Support the identification and mitigation of project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to maintain project momentum
- Contribute to project status reporting, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring that documentation is up-to-date
- Facilitate meetings and workshops, capturing action items and ensuring follow-up
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in project management or program coordination within the IT sector
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for relationship building
Preferred:
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and software development processes
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar qualifications
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Basic understanding of IT project management tools and methodologies
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus
