Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Distinguished Interior Design Professor to join our esteemed faculty. In this fully remote role, you will lead the interior design program, shaping the curriculum and inspiring the next generation of design professionals. Your expertise will guide students in mastering design principles, innovative technologies, and sustainable practices, all while fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cutting-edge curriculum that integrates contemporary design trends, sustainability, and technology.
- Lead engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops that promote critical thinking, creativity, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Mentor students through their academic journeys, providing guidance on design projects, career development, and industry trends.
- Conduct research in your area of expertise, contributing to academic publications and presenting findings at conferences.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Terminal degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in interior design, including a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Demonstrated experience in higher education teaching, with a commitment to student success and innovative pedagogical methods.
- Strong understanding of current design software, tools, and trends in the industry.
Preferred:
- Active involvement in professional design organizations and associations.
- Publications in reputable design journals or platforms.
- Experience in curriculum development and program accreditation processes.
- Ability to leverage technology for remote teaching and learning.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling tools.
- Understanding of sustainable design practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with building codes, materials, and construction methods.
