Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and stability. You will play a critical role in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting our systems while providing technical support to users across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain servers, storage solutions, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
- Implement and manage system monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance system reliability and security
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing processes
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Knowledge of database management and backup solutions
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in systems management tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk)
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks and incident management processes
