Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Informatica Architect to join our data integration team. In this role, you will design and implement scalable data integration solutions leveraging Informatica technologies, ensuring data integrity, quality, and performance across various systems. You will play a critical role in shaping our data architecture strategy and guiding our teams towards best practices in data management.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud, ensuring alignment with business requirements and data governance standards.
- Lead the development of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing solutions to support analytical needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define data flows, and establish data transformation rules.
- Implement and optimize data quality and data profiling processes to ensure high-quality data delivery.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams, conducting code reviews and mentoring junior engineers on best practices in data integration and architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data integration and analytics to continuously improve our solutions.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in data integration, with a strong focus on Informatica technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
- Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience with data governance practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud-based data integration solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and machine learning concepts.
- Relevant certifications in Informatica or cloud data technologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, and related tools.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data modeling tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools.
