Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ETL Manager to lead our data engineering team in designing and optimizing our ETL processes. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective extraction, transformation, and loading of data across our platforms, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes that effectively integrate data from multiple sources into our data warehouse
- Oversee the performance and optimization of ETL workflows, ensuring high availability and scalability for data operations
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement best practices for data quality management and monitoring to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Mentor and develop a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for enhancements to our ETL architecture
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data management, with a proven track record of managing complex data integration projects
- Strong expertise in ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica
- Deep knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions, such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Data Lake
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex data issues effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java for data manipulation and automation
- Strong project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies

- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL design principles, and data warehousing concepts
