Role Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that enhance the technical skills and competencies of our maintenance workforce. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure training aligns with industry standards and operational needs, facilitating a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a robust training curriculum for maintenance personnel, covering key technical skills, safety protocols, and compliance regulations
- Conduct needs assessments and training evaluations to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job coaching to enhance the practical skills of maintenance staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content meets operational requirements and industry best practices
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback, adjusting programs as necessary
- Stay updated on the latest maintenance technologies and training methodologies to continuously enhance program offerings
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field, with a focus on training and development
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes, equipment, and safety standards
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs and materials
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership or managerial role within training and development
- Certification in training methodologies or instructional design
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and adult learning principles
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using technology for training delivery, such as e-learning platforms and virtual training tools
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and tools
- Experience with data analysis to assess training impact and workforce performance
