Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing maintenance strategies, managing schedules, and overseeing the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and reliability
- Manage the maintenance team, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure high standards of work
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with production goals
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and inventory management
- Manage budgets and resources for maintenance operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, tools, and techniques
- Experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Relevant certifications in maintenance management or engineering
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools
- Understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance reporting software
