Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Maintenance Training Manager to lead our training initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role is critical in developing and implementing training programs that enhance the technical competencies of our aviation maintenance personnel, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence in aircraft maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for aviation maintenance staff, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted instructional strategies to address them.
- Oversee the delivery of training sessions, utilizing a variety of instructional methods such as classroom training, simulations, and hands-on workshops.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making continuous improvements based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry stakeholders to stay current with technological advancements and regulatory changes in aviation maintenance.
- Manage and mentor a team of training professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, with a proven track record in training program development and execution.
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance requirements related to aviation maintenance training.
- Strong background in instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading training initiatives.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) or Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) preferred.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training methodologies.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools to assess training effectiveness and performance metrics.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in aviation maintenance practices and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
