Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to lead our global HSE initiatives at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Foster a culture of proactive safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
- Engage with executive leadership to drive HSE initiatives, reporting regularly on safety metrics and improvement initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with regional HSE teams to ensure consistency and compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Manage external relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to advocate for best practices in HSE.
- Lead training and development programs to educate employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in HSE leadership roles, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HSE management systems and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and environmental management systems.
- Proficiency in utilizing HSE software and technology to enhance reporting and compliance.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of HSE regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies for tracking HSE performance metrics.
