Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee all housekeeping operations within our esteemed establishment. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while managing a dedicated team of housekeeping staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional service delivery and adherence to established cleaning standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and schedules, ensuring all areas of the property are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local and national standards.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
- Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping management software.
- Certification in hospitality management or related field.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using cleaning equipment and tools, including industrial vacuums and floor buffers.
- Experience with inventory management systems and supply ordering processes.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication purposes.
