Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Hospitality Manager to support our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all aspects of hospitality align with our brand's commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of the hospitality department, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services
- Support the Hospitality Manager in implementing service standards and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction
- Monitor staff performance and provide training to ensure high levels of service delivery
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate events and special requests, ensuring seamless execution
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Assist in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to achieve operational goals
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of hospitality staff
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality management or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on guest relations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in standard hospitality software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Experience with budget management and financial reporting
- Knowledge of current hospitality trends and best practices
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Proficiency in using scheduling and workforce management tools
