Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Hotel Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel, while enhancing guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the Hotel Operations Manager to implement best practices and drive innovative solutions in our fully remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
- Support the Hotel Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies that align with our brand’s mission and goals.
- Monitor guest feedback and service metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance the guest experience, and achieve operational excellence.
- Facilitate staff training and development programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Assist in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize operational performance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in hotel operations or management, with a proven track record of driving operational success.
- Strong understanding of hospitality industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse teams and guests.
- Proven ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to enhance operational performance.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) and operational reporting tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and hotel management software.
- Familiarity with revenue management systems and performance analytics tools.
