Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Hotel Director to join our innovative hospitality team. In this role, you will oversee various operational aspects of our hotel, collaborating closely with department heads to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence across all functions.
Responsibilities
- Support the Hotel Director in driving the overall operational strategy, ensuring alignment with the hotel's brand and financial objectives.
- Lead and mentor department managers in delivering top-tier service standards, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices.
- Analyze operational metrics and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies.
- Assist in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop initiatives that enhance the hotel's visibility and guest acquisition.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and retention strategies, fostering an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, creating a safe environment for guests and employees alike.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in hotel management or a related field, with a proven track record of operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest services, and revenue management principles.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) and hotel management software.
- Multi-property management experience is a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in hotel management software and tools, including PMS and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with revenue management strategies and techniques.
