Role Overview
We are seeking a Home Care Supervisor to oversee our dedicated team of caregivers and ensure the highest quality of home care services for our clients. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for leading the care team, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of caregivers, providing training and support to ensure high standards of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor client progress, conduct regular assessments, and adjust care plans as needed to meet evolving needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
- Handle client and family inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
- Facilitate communication between caregivers, clients, and family members to foster a collaborative care environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in home care or healthcare management.
- Strong understanding of home care regulations and best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client-centered care.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and care management software.
- Certification in home care supervision or related credential.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to improve care services.
- Familiarity with scheduling and workforce management software.
