Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Charge Nurse to join our innovative healthcare team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in overseeing patient care and managing nursing staff to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes within a fully remote environment. You will be responsible for coordinating patient care, implementing policies and procedures, and advocating for patient needs while fostering a supportive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery, fostering a collaborative environment
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure adherence to best practices and protocols
- Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, providing education and training to enhance clinical skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of care
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN license in good standing
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a charge or leadership role
- Comprehensive knowledge of patient care standards and nursing best practices
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Certification in nursing leadership or management
- Experience with remote patient monitoring technologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
- Familiarity with remote patient monitoring tools and technologies
- Understanding of data analysis to inform patient care decisions
