Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our innovative healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Nurse Manager in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of nursing professionals. Your focus will be on enhancing patient outcomes, optimizing care processes, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the daily operations of the nursing unit
- Support staff development through mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining the highest standards of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the needs of diverse populations
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, implementing corrective actions as needed to improve care delivery
- Assist in budget management and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Current RN license in good standing
- At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and staff
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Experience in a healthcare management or supervisory role
- Certification in nursing leadership or management (e.g., CENP, CNML)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare management software
- Understanding of quality improvement methodologies and performance metrics
- Familiarity with data analysis tools to evaluate patient care outcomes and operational efficiencies
