Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to oversee and coordinate patient care within our healthcare facility. The Charge Nurse will play a pivotal role in ensuring that hospital standards of care are met while providing leadership to nursing staff and facilitating effective communication among healthcare team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered at all times
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance on clinical practices and procedures while fostering a supportive team environment
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharges, ensuring that documentation and communication are completed accurately and efficiently
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and provide education about treatment options
- Adhere to regulatory standards and hospital policies while promoting a culture of safety and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in [state]
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 3+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and current healthcare technologies
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications are required

Location
