Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Genealogist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will assist in the research, documentation, and analysis of family histories and genealogical records, contributing to the growth of our unique genealogical database and helping clients uncover their ancestral stories.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research using various genealogical sources, including census records, birth and death certificates, and historical documents.
- Assist in creating detailed family trees and compiling comprehensive reports based on your findings.
- Collaborate with senior genealogists to verify information and improve research methodologies.
- Utilize online databases and archival resources to gather pertinent data and enhance accuracy.
- Maintain meticulous records of all research activities and findings for future reference.
- Stay updated on genealogical research trends and tools to enhance the quality of work.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest in genealogy and family history research.
- Basic understanding of genealogical research methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
