Role Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Fire Watch to join our dedicated safety team, ensuring a safe environment during critical operations. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring activities and identifying potential fire hazards, while effectively communicating safety protocols to all personnel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the designated work areas to identify potential fire hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain a constant state of alertness to detect any signs of smoke, fire, or other hazardous situations
- Communicate effectively with team members and contractors regarding safety concerns, and provide guidance on emergency procedures
- Document safety observations and incidents accurately in compliance with company policies
- Assist in the development and implementation of fire prevention strategies and safety training programs
- Participate in emergency response drills and ensure readiness to act in case of an incident
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a safety or fire watch role, or a related field
- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and procedures
Preferred:
- Certification in fire safety or relevant safety training programs
- Experience working in industrial or construction environments
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with fire detection systems and emergency response equipment
- Proficient in using communication tools and reporting software
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit

- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
