Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and compassionate Family Preservation Program Manager to lead our efforts in supporting families in crisis. In this pivotal role, you will oversee program implementation, ensuring that families receive the necessary resources and interventions to promote stability and avoid unnecessary separation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute evidence-based solutions that drive positive outcomes for families.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of family preservation programs, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a team of dedicated professionals, providing supervision, training, and mentoring to enhance program delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, stakeholders, and service providers to foster a collaborative approach to family support.
- Monitor program performance metrics and outcomes, utilizing data to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff and community partners on family preservation strategies and best practices.
- Engage with families to understand their needs and experiences, integrating feedback into program enhancements.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in family services, child welfare, or a related area, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of family dynamics, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with grant writing and program funding.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to child welfare services.
- Certification in family preservation or related methodologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data management systems and tools for program evaluation.
- Experience with case management software and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of community resources and referral systems.
