Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Exhibitions and Collections Manager to support the planning, execution, and management of exhibitions and collections at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of exhibition concepts, including research, design, and logistics

- Maintain comprehensive records of the collection, including acquisitions, loans, and conservation efforts
- Support the curation and installation of exhibitions, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines

- Conduct regular inventory assessments and condition reports for the collection
- Provide support in the management of collection-related documentation, including provenance, cataloging, and insurance
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in museum or gallery settings, with a focus on exhibitions or collections management
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with collection management systems
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with exhibition design and installation processes
- Knowledge of conservation practices and ethical standards in collections management
- Familiarity with current trends and issues in the museum and gallery sector
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
