Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic ETL Test Manager to join our data quality assurance team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Identify, track, and report defects in ETL workflows, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- Establish best practices for testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate regular meetings and progress updates with stakeholders to communicate testing outcomes and project status.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in testing data integration processes, specifically in ETL testing for large-scale data systems.
- Proven experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Apache Nifi, Talend, or Informatica.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and SQL for database testing.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation of test processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in leading a testing team and managing end-to-end testing processes.
- Knowledge of cloud-based ETL solutions such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a data-driven environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in ETL processes and data validation techniques.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
