Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Protection Fire Control Manager to lead our fire management initiatives, ensuring the safety and sustainability of our natural resources. This role is critical in developing and implementing fire control strategies that protect ecosystems while complying with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

- Conduct risk assessments and environmental impact analyses to inform decision-making and resource allocation.

- Supervise and mentor fire management teams, providing training on fire safety protocols and environmental considerations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Fire Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in fire management, environmental protection, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of fire behavior, prevention techniques, and ecological principles.
- Proven track record in managing fire control operations and leading diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with stakeholders and the public effectively.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with GIS tools for fire mapping and resource management.
- Certification as a Fire Officer or Incident Commander.
- Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations related to fire management.
