Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Conservation Law, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in conservation enforcement, law enforcement, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and policies at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Experience in conducting investigations and working with law enforcement agencies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Ph.D. in a related field.
- Experience in a leadership role within a non-profit or governmental conservation organization.
- Proven ability to advocate for conservation policies and initiatives at various governmental levels.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in geographic information systems (GIS) and data analytics for environmental monitoring and enforcement.
- Familiarity with remote sensing and other technological tools to enhance conservation efforts.
