Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Chief Learning Officer (CLO) to lead our organization's learning and development initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and enhances employee performance.
- Lead the design and delivery of innovative learning programs, leveraging both traditional and digital learning modalities to meet diverse learner needs.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify skill gaps and future workforce needs, ensuring that learning initiatives address these areas effectively.
- Establish metrics and evaluation methodologies to assess the impact and effectiveness of learning programs, providing ongoing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the organization, encouraging collaboration and innovation.
- Manage a team of learning and development professionals, providing mentorship and support to build a high-performing learning organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in learning and development, integrating best practices into our strategies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on strategic leadership roles.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning programs that drive business results.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Experience in a technology-driven environment and familiarity with digital learning tools.
- Certification in Learning and Development or related professional accreditation.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools to assess learning program effectiveness.
