Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Assembly Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our assembly processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire assembly line, implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electromechanical assembly team to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Develop and implement training programs for team members to enhance skill sets and promote safety practices
- Conduct regular inspections of assembly processes and products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot production issues and refine assembly procedures
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, reporting on performance to management and stakeholders
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the assembly team
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly or manufacturing supervision
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and assembly techniques
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices in an assembly environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment, as well as testing and inspection instruments
- Experience with ERP systems and production management software
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing
