Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor for our Electric Motor Fitting team, responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of electric motors in various applications. This role involves leading a skilled team, ensuring high-quality standards, and driving operational excellence within the fitting processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians and fitters, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement fitting schedules while ensuring timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of electric motors, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of fitting processes and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to address challenges and optimize fitting operations.
- Maintain accurate records of fitting activities, performance metrics, and compliance with industry standards.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in electric motor fitting, installation, or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, motor technologies, and fitting methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with project management and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in motor fitting.
- Relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for electric motors.
