Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Operations Supervisor to oversee and enhance our crane operations, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency. This role is critical in coordinating crane activities, managing personnel, and implementing best practices to meet operational goals while adhering to regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily crane operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule crane activities and allocate resources effectively
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane equipment to ensure operational integrity and safety compliance
- Lead and mentor crane operators, providing training and guidance on safe operating procedures and equipment handling
- Monitor operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and safety incidents, preparing reports for management review
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in crane operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of crane types, operations, and safety regulations
- Certification as a crane operator and/or crane safety professional
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a high-pressure environment
Preferred:
- Experience with heavy construction or industrial projects
- Familiarity with rigging, signaling, and load management practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in crane operational software and safety management systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of industry-standard safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Location
