Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Operations Supervisor to oversee our crane operations and ensure compliance with safety standards, efficiency, and operational excellence. In this role, you will lead a team of crane operators, manage daily operations, and coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily crane operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Develop operational plans and schedules to optimize crane usage and resource allocation
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane equipment to ensure reliability and safety
- Provide training and mentorship to crane operators, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to facilitate efficient project execution
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for operational enhancement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in crane operations, with a strong understanding of crane types and their applications
- Proven leadership experience in supervising a team of crane operators
- Valid Crane Operator Certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
Preferred:
- Experience in construction or heavy equipment industries
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
- First Aid/CPR certification
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- In-depth knowledge of crane operation techniques and safety standards
- Proficiency in conducting equipment inspections and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Familiarity with load charts, rigging techniques, and lifting plans
