Role Overview

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of EDI solutions to facilitate data exchange with key trading partners
- Oversee EDI operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to data transmission and processing

- Manage and mentor a team of EDI analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes, standards, and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of EDI systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within EDI workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in EDI management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and relevant technologies (e.g., AS2, FTP, VAN)
- Proven experience in managing EDI implementations and integrations with ERP systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
Preferred:
- Experience with EDI mapping tools (e.g., Gentran, BizTalk, or similar)
- Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics processes
- Technical proficiency in XML, JSON, and SQL
- Project management experience with a focus on EDI initiatives
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in EDI communication protocols and data formats
- Strong understanding of data integration methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
