Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Work specializing in Drug Abuse Services to lead our team in delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role is critical in shaping our service delivery model, enhancing program effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Drug Abuse Services, including program development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment protocols.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of social workers, counselors, and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on client-centered care.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and resource sharing.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, utilizing data-driven approaches to assess effectiveness and inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as adherence to ethical standards in social work practice.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Licensure as an LCSW or equivalent in the relevant state.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in social work, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on substance use disorders.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in the treatment of drug abuse and addiction.
- Proven ability to develop and implement program initiatives that improve client outcomes.
Preferred:
- Experience in grant writing and management, with a track record of securing funding for social work programs.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.
- Experience in community-based program development and outreach.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Strong knowledge of substance use disorder treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Experience with case management software and electronic documentation systems.
