Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapy Manager to lead our respiratory therapy team in delivering exceptional patient care. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical practices, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving the continuous improvement of respiratory therapy services across our organization.
Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership to the respiratory therapy team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient safety and improve clinical outcomes.
- Oversee the training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of respiratory therapists, fostering a culture of professional development.
Operational Management:
- Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and staffing to optimize service delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and support for patients with respiratory conditions.
- Monitor and analyze clinical performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing respiratory therapy practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices to guide clinical governance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Current respiratory therapy licensure and certification (RRT or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care practices, protocols, and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in telehealth or remote healthcare service delivery.
- Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare setting.
- Certification in healthcare management or administration.
