Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic construction team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. - Monitor daily work activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to assess progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve project-related issues and facilitate effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including reporting on labor, materials, and equipment usage.
- Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure high standards are met throughout the construction process.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in construction supervision or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and construction management software.
- Basic understanding of financial principles related to project budgeting and cost control.
