Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Construction Coordinator to join [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this role, you will support our construction management team in the planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of project schedules, budgets, and reports to ensure timely project delivery
- Support project managers in tracking construction progress and managing on-site activities
- Help maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence with subcontractors
- Coordinate communication between team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project workflows
- Participate in site visits and meetings to monitor project status and address any emerging issues
- Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a construction or project coordination role, including internships
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology
Preferred:
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools
- Familiarity with contract administration and industry regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of construction management software and tools
- Understanding of scheduling and budgeting principles
