Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Conference Services to lead our conference operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional experiences for our clients and attendees. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and execution of our conference services, while fostering relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for conference services that aligns with the overall business objectives and enhances client satisfaction.
- Lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the successful planning and execution of all conferences.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with vendors and venues to secure favorable terms and ensure seamless event logistics.
- Oversee all aspects of conference planning, including budgeting, scheduling, marketing, and on-site management, to deliver outstanding experiences.
- Analyze feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve conference offerings and operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing, sales, and customer service efforts with conference objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, fostering relationships and promoting our brand.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in conference services or event management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale conferences.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams and driving organizational change.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Experience in the hospitality or events industry, with a deep understanding of trends and best practices.

- Advanced degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
