Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CT Technologist to join our radiology team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this role, you will assist in performing CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work under the supervision of senior technologists and radiologists, gaining hands-on experience in advanced imaging techniques and contributing to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans on patients as directed by the supervising radiologist, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to senior staff.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality imaging results.
- Document patient information, imaging procedures, and results accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of imaging technologies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
- Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred:
- Experience with computed tomography (CT) imaging.
- Familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic medical records.
- Basic understanding of radiation safety principles.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and software.
- Knowledge of imaging protocols and techniques for various medical conditions.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist in maintenance.

Location
This is a hybrid position requiring presence in our facility at least 3 days a week, with flexibility for remote work as needed.
