Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Health Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in delivering high-quality healthcare services within the community. In this managerial role, you will oversee nursing operations, coordinate patient care initiatives, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of community health nurses, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor community health programs that address local health needs and improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
- Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular audits and assessments
- Act as a liaison between the community and healthcare providers to enhance service accessibility and coordination
- Analyze health data and metrics to inform program development and improve service delivery
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and active RN license
- 5+ years of experience in community health nursing, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of public health principles and community health practices
- Proven ability to develop and manage clinical programs within a community setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health
- Experience with health education and promotion, as well as community outreach
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in EHR systems and healthcare software applications
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data interpretation and reporting
- Knowledge of telehealth technologies and their application in community health
