Role Overview
We are actively seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Public Health Nursing to lead our nursing programs and initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping public health policy, overseeing nursing operations, and driving community health improvement strategies to enhance health outcomes across diverse populations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public health nursing programs that align with organizational goals and community needs.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of public health nurses, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, healthcare providers, and government agencies to assess public health needs and mobilize resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations, maintaining accreditation standards and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in public health nursing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
