Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Health Education Coordinator to support our health education initiatives. This role involves collaborating with community partners to implement health programs, facilitating educational workshops, and assessing community health needs to promote wellness and preventive care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community health education programs
- Coordinate logistics for health workshops and community outreach events
- Develop educational materials and resources to support health literacy
- Conduct assessments to identify community health needs and tailor programs accordingly
- Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and inform future initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations to enhance health education efforts
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in community health education or program coordination
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse populations and community organizations
- Knowledge of health promotion strategies and community health resources
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
