Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and innovative CHW Program Manager to lead our Community Health Worker (CHW) initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that engage community health workers in delivering essential health services. Your leadership will be critical in enhancing community outreach, improving health outcomes, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to expand and enhance CHW programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
- Lead recruitment, training, and ongoing support for CHWs, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to effectively serve their communities.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with local health organizations, community groups, and stakeholders to promote program awareness and engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, utilizing data analytics to track outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Advocate for policies that support the integration of CHWs into the healthcare system and address barriers to access for underserved populations.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance the capacity of CHWs and other stakeholders.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing public health programs, preferably involving community health workers.
- Strong understanding of community health principles and practices, as well as familiarity with health disparities and access issues.
- Proven experience in program evaluation and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Public Health or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse communities and understanding cultural competencies.
- Knowledge of health policy and advocacy efforts related to community health.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies, including experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with health information systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Experience with project management software and tools.

Location
This role is hybrid, requiring successful candidates to work from the office at least 3 days a week while also allowing flexibility for remote work.
