Role Overview
We are looking for a Clinical Exercise Physiology Manager to lead our dedicated team of exercise physiologists in providing evidence-based exercise prescriptions and management for patients with chronic conditions. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to innovate and enhance patient care through exercise interventions while influencing the direction of our clinical programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical exercise physiology programs to improve patient outcomes and adherence to exercise regimens.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities to exercise physiologists and support staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate exercise prescriptions into comprehensive patient care plans.
- Evaluate and analyze program effectiveness through data-driven insights and patient feedback, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to research initiatives aimed at advancing the field of exercise physiology and enhancing clinical practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards in exercise therapy and patient management.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in clinical exercise physiology or a similar healthcare role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACSM, NSCA) as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful clinical programs.
Preferred:
- Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring technologies.
- Familiarity with chronic disease management and rehabilitation.
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals related to exercise physiology or clinical outcomes.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Strong knowledge of exercise testing and prescription techniques for various populations.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth software.
- Experience with data analysis and patient management software to assess program impact.
