Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant City Treasurer to join our financial management team. In this pivotal role, you will support the City Treasurer in overseeing municipal finances, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and enhancing financial operations. Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in municipal finance, treasury management, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and principles governing public finance
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Finance or Public Administration
- Certification as a Municipal Treasurer or equivalent professional designation
- Experience working with public sector organizations and understanding of local government operations
