Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Comptroller to join the finance team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. - Conduct regular audits of financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist in managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies
- Provide support in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Preferred:
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting methodologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in financial reporting and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
