Role Overview

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, or a related field
- Familiarity with planning principles and practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in GIS software and mapping tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Internship or relevant experience in urban planning or community development
- Knowledge of local zoning laws and land use regulations
- Experience with public engagement and community outreach initiatives
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and other planning tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R) is a plus
