Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role, you will play a critical part in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions by utilizing advanced imaging technologies and methodologies. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and vascular studies
- Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
- Gather and analyze patient data to assist physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular diseases
- Educate patients on procedures and provide support during testing, ensuring comfort and understanding
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCT) or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced imaging modalities such as CT angiography or MRI
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
- 2+ years of clinical experience in a cardiovascular setting
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using cardiovascular imaging equipment and software
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring systems and related technologies
- Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
