Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our business intelligence infrastructure, ensuring seamless access to data and analytics across the organization. Your expertise will drive data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives that propel our mission forward.
Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize business intelligence tools and platforms to support data analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that facilitate insightful business analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights that align with business objectives.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data governance and quality assurance practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their proficiency with BI tools and analytics.
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI system performance, resolving issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience in data visualization and reporting best practices.
Preferred:
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist) are a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Understanding of data governance and security principles.
