Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Business Objects Administrator to join our dynamic analytics team. In this role, you will assist in the administration and support of our Business Objects environment, ensuring data accessibility and integrity while learning best practices in business intelligence and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Business Objects environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Support end-users by troubleshooting issues, responding to inquiries, and providing training on Business Objects tools and functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and security, conducting regular audits and implementing necessary updates or changes.
- Collaborate with senior administrators to maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with data management standards and policies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in a technical support or administration role, ideally within a business intelligence environment.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Business Objects reporting tools is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience with data visualization tools or BI platforms.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Basic knowledge of Business Objects suite, including Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports.
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.
