Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in building code inspection or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Certification as a building inspector from a recognized professional organization (e.g., ICC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with green building practices and sustainable design principles
- Familiarity with advanced inspection technologies and software
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in building code software and inspection tools
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for site assessments
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction materials
